DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE REEDS IN MY DIFFUSER?  If your reed diffuser isn’t sending its fragrance into the air anymore, it is time to flip those babies over.  Flipping them will enable another burst of the diffuser oil, and you won’t need to replace your reeds just yet.  Repeat this as needed to keep your diffuser scent fresh – usually around once a week.  Once the diffuser fragrance is no longer noticeable, but you still have oil in your vessel, it’s time to renew your reeds with a new set.  Sometimes dust will clog the reeds blocking the scent from dissipating.

WHY CAN I NOT RE-USE MY REEDS?
The cells in diffuser reeds will eventually clog once they are saturated and they’ll then lose the ability to draw up the scent into the reeds to throw out the scent.  
Reeds cannot be re-used in a different scent because the cells of the reed will hold the scent of the previous fragrance oil.  This will mix the scents and you’ll not get a pure transfer, or you may end up with an unpleasant mix of scents.
Replacement reeds are relatively inexpensive, so replacing them is the best option to keep your scent diffusing beautifully out into your space, you can even keep a spare set of reeds ready and switch up the look by choosing a different colour.
